Bias in media

One of the things learned and where we focus more last week were the bias. There are different types of bias, such bias by headline, bias by Word choice and tone, bias by source control, etc. But what is a bias? Bias is an inclination to present or hold a partial perspective at the expense of (Possibly EQUALLY valid) alternatives. Generally anything is biased one-sided, and THEREFORE Lacks a neutral point of view. Bias can come in many forms.

Both covers have a common theme: the death of General and former President of the Republic of Chile, Augusto Pinochet. However depends on the political ideology of the newspaper
how to report the death of it.

Note that the bias can be used in different media, like magazines, radio, television, newspapers, etc.
